Experience
Professional engagements, in reverse chronological order.
- Sybella SA — Quantitative finance R&D Summer 2025
Software engineering intern · 8 weeks (June – August)
Built data engineering foundations for an internal backtesting platform in quantitative finance. Delivered a versioned market-data pipeline ingesting NorgateData into PostgreSQL with an SCD2 model and time-travel snapshots, after iterating through Apache Iceberg and Spark/Hive. Final pipeline ingests eighty million rows in under one hour for full reload.
- Manufacture Française de Bougies — ERP rollout Spring 2023
First-year discovery internship · ESAIP ING1
Joined a scented-candle manufacturer near Grasse during the early phase of an ERP migration, with two vendors on the shortlist (Sylob and Microsoft Dynamics 365). Worked across functions — administration, R&D, lab, manufacturing, logistics — to gather requirements, then documented the goods-reception process end to end for the new system. First exposure to enterprise software in production and to cross-functional requirements gathering in an SME setting.
Volunteering
- SAFE — Association website rebuild Spring 2025
Volunteer web lead · ESAIP student association
SAFE (Safety Access For Everyone) is the first-aid and prevention association at ESAIP Aix — training students in life-saving gestures, covering school events, and partnering with the French Red Cross and the fire service. After the previous web lead dropped the mission, I took it over end-to-end. Audited the drag-and-drop alternatives (Canva, Wix, Framer) and rejected them — they don't scale to the board's needs (dynamic news, training signups, future modules). Rebuilt the site fully coded instead.
Stack: Rails 8 full-stack, native SCSS, GSAP animations, no CSS framework — pixel-by-pixel control on rendering, SEO, WCAG AA accessibility, and CI/CD via Netlify Edge. Scope went from cadrage with the SAFE board through Rails scaffolding, custom design system, animated hero, dynamic sections, mobile burger nav, and Lighthouse >90 audits.
Proof: Open Badges attestation — 35 validated volunteer hours.
